Whit McClendon

Author

Whit McClendon is an author, martial artist, and successful business owner. He founded and runs Jade Mountain Martial Arts in Katy, Texas, where he trains and laughs with his students every day. He writes tales of epic and urban fantasy filled with heroism, adventure, and the occasional ‘catching of feelings.’ His goal is to have his readers enjoy his books almost as much as he enjoys writing them, and that’s a lot. Whit loves pugs, and enjoys singing in the shower, baltering, and playing lacrosse.!

Melissa Algood

Author

Melissa Algood loves telepaths on the run from their creator, ghosts seeking revenge, and star-crossed lovers…which is probably why she’s written so many stories about those things. She’s published 10 titles, ranging from stories that give you nightmares, to stories that that break your heart. When she’s not writing, she’s binge-watching reality TV, playing with her tuxedo cat, or listening to records with her husband.

Amy Campbell

Author

Amy Campbell is basically the cool librarian you wish you’d had growing up. A lifelong Texan and current Houston resident, she shares her home with her husband, two young sons, and an impressive model horse collection. From the age of 7, Amy was the kid who filled her Lisa Frank notebook with stories instead of doodles. That childhood passion evolved into a career writing fantasy novels—worlds imbued with a dash of pegasus, a sprinkle of steampunk, and a pinch of magic. Seriously, if her books were a mixtape, they'd be filled with all the classics but with unexpected remixes that make you go, "Whoa!"orci ut, feugiat lorem.

Tim Frankovich

Author

Tim Frankovich has been exploring fantastic worlds since third grade, when he cut up a grocery sack and drew a Godzilla-meets-superheroes story. Since then, he’s gotten a little bit better at the writing part (not so much with the drawing). His goal as a writer is to transport readers to another world, make them care deeply about characters in dire situations, and guide them deeper into life itself. At the moment, he is probably suitably conscious somewhere in Texas with his beloved wife, awesome kids, and a fool of a pup named Pippin..
